Expanded apparel and accessories range includes handbags and shirts as well as jackets for children.

The Smiley Company and retailer Zara have extended their partnership to include a winter collection of handbags and apparel separates.

A highlight from Zara’s new handbag line, which includes a number of options, is a leather city bag featuring the Smiley icon on the flap. The retailer has also released a women’s poplin shirt featuring the brand’s logo on the back and the phrase “show me your smile” across the front pocket.

Additionally, Zara has introduced a host of items for kids, including a khaki bomber jacket.

"The latest collection between Smiley and Zara shows the continued demand for Smiley products at the most influential fashion retailers in the world today,” says Nicolas Loufrani, chief executive officer, Smiley. “My team has worked hard to continue to keep Smiley as a leading trend on the high street, and the measure of this success is that our distribution is growing into new doors and our products are now at retail all year. Currently we have fashion ranges in-store with at least 10 major retailers, and with some exciting new deals in place for 2017, I'm looking forward to seeing this continue well into next year."

The new Smiley collection is now available in more than 2,000 Zara locations worldwide.
