The Mary Evans Picture Library has added new imagery and artists to its portfolio as it readies for Brand Licensing Europe this October in London.

The British design label English Eccentrics, known for melding eclectic imagery to create unique apparel textiles, has teamed with Mary Evans to offer its archive of patterns and designs for licensing. The designs are now available for a variety of categories including textiles, tableware, china, stationery, gifts, bath and body, fashion accessories and home interiors.

With the First World War Centenary just one year away, the company has also been building up its collection of event-related materials. The archive now includes the collections of contributors like Onslows Vintage Posters as well Mary Evans’ own portfolio of photographs, illustrations, postcards and magazine art from the war.

Mary Evans is also growing its collection of images from the Medici Society with the work of artist Molly Brett. Brett’s illustrations depict woodland and farmyard animals in human situations and are now available to license for products including calendars, toys, textiles, giftware and china.

The Mary Evans Picture Library will display these new additions and other highlights of its portfolio at Brand Licensing Europe, taking place Oct. 15-17 at London’s Olympia exhibition hall.
