Kidult will launch a Frida Kahlo licensed collection of jewelry.

The collection includes six bracelet designs with engravings of Kahlo’s famous phrases in Italian and English. Each piece will be marketed as gifts for girls and women of all ages. Products are distributed throughout Italy in a selection of specialized shops and on Kidult’s web store.

“We are excited and honored for this new exclusive collaboration,” says Francesco Songa, chief executive officer and creative director, Mabina. “The official Frida Kahlo license significantly enriches our Life Collection. Frida was an extraordinary woman and has great affinity with the character of Kidult. Frida's ideals are very current today and speak the same language that Kidult uses to inspire women.”

Kidult is the concept brand of the jewelry company Mabina, a Milanese firm founded in 1999 by three generations of family jewelers. The brand specializes in the design, production and marketing of proprietary brands.

The Art Ask Agency, who represents the brand, previously partnered brokered deals on behalf of the Khalo estate with companies such as Cortefiel.
