JELC continues to grow the U.K.-based art brand with products on the horizon from Quadrille Publishing and My Gifts Trade.

EUROPE–Brand Licensing Europe License This! competition finalist I Like Birds has secured two new licensees–Quadrille Publishing and My Gifts Trade–to produce a range of branded merchandise for the U.K. market.

JELC, the brand’s exclusive worldwide licensing agent, brokered the deals.

First, Quadrille Publishing will develop a line of jotter pads, address books, boxed notecards and notebooks highlighting the design brand. The new range is set to launch in April 2018 across the U.K., Australia and other parts of the world. In July 2018, the line is expected to launch in North America via Quadrille’s distribution partner Chronicle Books.

Meanwhile, My Gifts Trade will create a collection of I Like Birds mugs and household textiles, among other gifting items, for a spring 2018 release.

“Having made an impact on greeting cards in retailers such as Paperchase and Independents as well as Browntrout Publishing in Europe launching a range of calendars shortly, it’s great to see the brand going from strength to strength,” says Stuart Cox, joint founder and creator, I Like Birds. “Given the adaptability of our designs, giftware and stationery were some of the key categories highlighted for licensing and we’re delighted to be working with such excellent partners as Quadrille and My Gifts Trade.”
