Effective immediately, Brand Squared Licensing will serve as the design house’s exclusive licensing agency for North America

NORTH AMERICA–Luxury gifting brand The House of Turnowksy has appointed Brand Squared Licensing to bring its brand to new product categories and channels in North America.

The House of Turnowsky’s first licensee in North America, American Greetings, and its subsidiaries in the U.K., Australia and New Zealand, sell nearly 5 million units annually of House of Turnowsky licensed products. The brand is already represented in a number of adjacent categories with dinnerware from Mikasa set to launch in 2018, gifting products from Paper Product Design now available in the U.S. and branded QT fabrics from Cranston Print Works.

“We are delighted to welcome Brand Squared Licensing as our new licensing agent for North America as we enter the third year of our strategic licensing program,” says Kobi Tadmor, chief executive officer, House of Turnowsky. “The first Turnowsky-licensed merchandise has been brought to retail over the past 18 months and we are really looking forward to seeing how Brand Squared can help us reach new categories and markets with our next phase of development.”

The design house is now looking to expand into the bed/bath, home, fashion accessories and gifting categories.

Each season, House of Turnowsky develops new designs based on global trend analysis, for potential licensees to choose from and just this October, The House of Turnowsky unveiled a new concept showcase at Brand Licensing Europe under the banner of “Style is Forever.”

“Brand Squared Licensing is thrilled to be working with The House of Turnowsky on the next phase of their strategic brand development in North America, and we are proud to collaborate on a stellar future for this unique heritage design brand,” says Michael E. Dresner, partner, Brand Squared. “Our goal is now to build on Turnowsky’s existing licensing portfolio by nurturing new licensing and retail partnerships.”
