Qpiz, the newly launched teen girl property represented by Zodiak Rights, is currently being developed into a series of animated shorts, an online world, a video game and publishing.

The animations are slated to air on Valentine's Day 2011 on Italy's Rai. Zodiak Rights will manage the property's licensing globally (excluding Asia and Italy), as well as television distribution rights.

"Qpiz has been a truly multiplatform concept from the very beginning," says Cristina Fiumara, director of kids' entertainment at Neo Network, creator of Qpiz. "We felt that much of the Web and online game world was focused at boys and we wanted to extend this into the girls' space. Qpiz appeals to girls, giving them the opportunity to move seamlessly from TV to books, to online and back to magazines; to communicate with their friends, make new ones and have fun across all kinds of games and cool applications. As well as being multiplatform, Qpiz is a multicultural and international brand which we have high hopes for at launch."
