Fluid World, U.K. licensing agent for Sanrio, has added homewares licensee Zap for additional Sanrio characters.

The deal will see Badtz Maru, Charmmy Kitty, Chococat, Keroppi, Kuromi and My Melody featured on cushions, duvet covers, curtains, towels, fleece blankets, bean bags, pajama cases, rugs, headboard covers and sleepover bags. Character cushions will be the first products available at retail launching for spring/summer 2011, duvet sets will follow for fall/winter 2011.

"Zap is one of the top performing licensees for Hello Kitty with duvet sets targeting both an older teen and younger girls," says Libby Grant, brand director at Fluid World.
