Konami Digital Entertainment, the makers of the Yu-Gi-Oh! trading card game, announced that the company will launch a ten-city mall tour on Feb. 12. Tour stops include New York, NY; Philadelphia, PA; Chicago, IL; Houston, TX; and Tampa and St. Petersburg, FL.
Fans will get a hands-on demonstration of how to play the game at each mall stop. Using a specially designed demo pack and guide, the Yu-Gi-Oh! specialists will teach the basics of the game to new players. Also, dueling tables will be available for advanced players.
“This is a great way for us to reach out to a new audience and to satisfy our avid fans,” says Yumi Hoashi, vice president of the Konami Card Business. “The face-to-face interaction is a perfect way to introduce the game to budding Duelists around the country.”
