WWE has appointed Casey Collins as executive vice president, consumer products.

In his new role, Collins will oversee WWE global licensing, home entertainment and publishing. He will report directly to WWE chairman and chief executive officer Vince McMahon.

Prior to joining WWE, Collins was executive vice president of global licensing and entertainment at MGA Entertainment. Collins also spent 10 years at Lucasfilm, where he was responsible for the management of Lucasfilm’s domestic and international licensing and retail merchandise programs.

Collins is no stranger to the world of professional wrestling. Earlier in his career, he served as director of worldwide licensing and motorsports at World Championship Wrestling, where he built and managed WCW’s worldwide consumer products program.
