Elementary school kids will learn more about Election Day next month when PBS Kids airs a new democracy-theme episode of "WordGirl."
In the episode to air on Nov. 4, Becky Botsford along with her alter-ego "WordGirl" run for student council president.
Children will also be able to learn more about the Electoral College and other fun and interesting facts on the PBS Kids Web site. Parents can find a special article on how to answer kids' questions about the election on the PBS Parents Web site. And for teachers, election-related lesson plans and podcasts are on the PBS Teachers Web site.
