The Wildflower Group has been appointed to represent two classic children’s properties–Goodnight Moon from HarperCollins Children’s Books and Raggedy Ann & Andy from Simon & Schuster Children’s Publishing.
Under the multi-year agreements, the agency plans build on the longstanding success of the two book-based brands with licensing and merchandising programs, looking to provide fresh ways for fans to enjoy these childhood favorites.
“We are delighted to work with HarperCollins and Simon & Schuster on these prized publishing-based properties that have captured the imaginations and the hearts of generations of children and families,” says Michael Carlisle, principal, The Wildflower Group. “We are honored to be entrusted with these classic brands and we look forward to developing broad-based licensing programs to help expand their legacy in exciting new ways for many years to come.”
The Wildflower Group will represent Goodnight Moon throughout the U.S. and Canada for all categories (excluding electronics). The agency is currently seeking partners in infant apparel, accessories, bedding and room decor, gifts and collectibles, health and beauty accessories and stationary, among other categories. Since it’s publication in 1947, Goodnight Moon has sold more than 22 million books and is No. 2 on Scholastic Parent & Child magazine’s 100 Greatest Books for Kids list.
The Wildflower Group will represent Raggedy Ann & Andy worldwide, and is seeking to expand the brand in all categories (excluding rag dolls).
