Weta Workshop has announced a slew of new Lord of the Rings gear in honor of Hobbit Day Saturday and in anticipation of Peter Jackson’s newest film in the LOTR franchise, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, in theaters Dec. 14.
The first behind-the-scenes book in a series that will cover the full trilogy, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, Chronicles Art and Design, has been released with paintings and set designs from the artists of the film.
Weta has also added to their collection of LOTR replicas including a parchment map of Middle-earth with a limited edition version signed by the map’s creator Daniel Reeve, The One ring in gold and silver, an Evenstar pendant (worn by Arwen in the first trilogy) and the rings of Galadriel and Aragorn.
