New York City will remain the place to see the latest and greatest in the toyindustry as the Toy Industry Association?s board of directors reaffirmed itsdecision to keep both the American International Fall Toy Show and the AmericanInternational Toy Fair in New York City now and in the foreseeable future. TheFall Toy Show (slated for October 20 to 23) will take place at the Jacob K.Javits Convention Center and will have closed exhibit space. Additionally,there will be private showrooms in the Toy District and other locations. The 2007Toy Fair will take place February 11 to 14. TIA?s board also decided to refermembers seeking permanent showroom space to real estate firm Newmark KnightFrank to assist in all real estate leasing issues.
