Warner Bros. Consumer Products recently expanded merchandise agreements for its Harry Potter and DC Comics properties.

The Noble Collection has been tapped to extend its range of Harry Potter collectibles, including a new series of wands. The manufacturer will have nearly 200 product offerings (wands, jewelry and chess sets) by the end of the year, coinciding with the Nov. 19 release of

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1.

Meanwhile, WBCP also extended its contract with WizKids/National Entertainment Collectibles Association to continue releasing DC Comics' characters on the HeroClix collectible miniatures game.

The latest line of figures will be based on Green Lantern, Watchmen and Jonah Hex (feature film hits theaters on June 18), as well as historical characters in celebration of DC Comics' 75th anniversary. The new DC Comics HeroClix range will be available at comic book and specialty gaming stores beginning this month through the fall.

"We're excited to be able to continue our

close partnership with DC Comics," says Lax Chandra, president of WizKids. "Our most recent offering, Batman: The Brave and the Bold, sold 30 percent higher than our previous release and we are working even closer with DC Comics editorial team so that we can deliver the hottest editorial content in 2010."
