Sarah Watts, creator of "How to … for the Domestically Inept," was named winner of the License! This competition last Thursday on the last day of Brand Licensing Europe.

Watts' property was selected by a panel of expert judges chaired by Andrew Kerr of Aoh!K and including Oliver Dyer, Skew Studio; Eric Huang, Penguin; and Patricia de Wilde, Marathon Media.

Other finalists who presented their properties were Jacky Al-Samarraie with Jacky Al-Samarraie Landscapes; Peter Rohdee with Little Godz; Sarah Lawrence with Marsh Mellow; and Turizmo presented by Jane Evans.

The panel asked questions and offered critique before choosing "How to … for the Domestically Inept" for its originality, commercial potential and suitability for licensing into other product categories.

Watts will receive a fully furnished stand at next year's Brand Licensing Europe worth an estimated £4,500.
