Rosalind Brewer, has been promoted to president and chief executive officer of Sam's Club, replacing Brian Cornell, who recently left the position. Brewer will report to Mike Duke, president and chief executive officer of Walmart. Brewer was most recently president of the Walmart U.S. east business unit.

Rollin Ford was promoted to chief administrative officer. Ford was most recently the company's chief information officer and will continue reporting to Duke.

Gisel Ruiz has been promoted to executive vice president and chief operating officer for Walmart U.S. Ruiz was most recently executive vice president of People for Walmart U.S., responsible for human resources. Ruiz will continue reporting to Bill Simon, president and chief executive officer, Walmart U.S. All three regional business unit presidents will report to her.

Karenann Terrell has been promoted to chief information officer. Terrell was most recently Walmart's assistant chief information officer and will continue reporting to Ford.
