Walmart to Kick Off Three Days of Savings

Markdowns will begin on Nov. 25 with online-only deals on electronics, home and apparel. More than 150 specials will be featured with up to 40 percent off. In addition, at midnight on Friday, Walmart will offer snacks and entertainment to shoppers. On Saturday, savings will be extended to Xbox 360's Kinect sensors and gaming bundles.

"We're making this year's Friday after Thanksgiving a special, festive event with big savings starting at midnight, and lots of food and fun for our customers while they shop and wait for the electronics deals starting at 5:00 a.m.," says Stephen Quinn, executive vice president and chief marketing officer for Walmart, U.S. "Walmart's ability to easily price match competitors' ads right at the checkout registers mean our customers will save time and money on Nov. 26."
