Viacom International Media Networks, The Americas, has signed a volume distribution deal with Mexican media company Televisa. The exclusive five-year deal includes distribution rights for a variety of Nickelodeon properties such as SpongeBob, Fairly Odd Parents, Kung Fu Panda, iCarly and Supah Ninjas, as well as Nickelodeon movies. In addition, VIMN also announced that Televisa has renewed new seasons of key Nickelodeon programming including “Penguins,” “SpongeBob SquarePants,” “Drake & Josh” and “iCarly.”
