Big Idea Entertainment has signed three new licensees to expand the VeggieTales brand into food, toys and seasonal gifts.

The latest partners include Frankford Candy & Chocolate for confectionery products, Hedstrom for play ball and toy items and Sherwood Brands for Easter candy baskets and gift sets. All products are rolling out to retailers now.

"Our always-expanding licensing and merchandising program continues to provide us with a wonderful opportunity to bring the enduring values and wholesome entertainment of Big Idea and our 'VeggieTales' series to an even wider audience," says Brian Mitchell, director of marketing and licensing for Big Idea Entertainment. "We are excited to share the VeggieTales messages through these new products that have popular appeal to children and families."

VeggieTales' licensing program already includes Enesco Gund/Gregg Gift (plush toys and gifts), ScrollMotion (digital books), Carpets for Kids (area rugs), Kidlandia (personalized maps), Find It Games (games), Trace Designs (wall murals), ConAgra (fruit snacks), DaySpring (cards and calendars), Bendon Publishing (coloring and activity books), Cranston (fabrics) and Northwest (bedding and outerwear).
