Kids' virtual world Poptropica has selected United Media to manage its consumer products program.

As agent, United Media is seeking partners in toys, apparel and room décor for kids ages 6 to 12. Poptropica features narrative quests, online games, digital books and comics. Content is created by Jeff Kinney, author and illustrator of the "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" book series.

"With more than 7 million visitors per month from more than 70 different countries, Poptropica already has a huge passionate fan base," says Joshua Kislevitz, senior vice president of domestic licensing at United Media. "As it continues its incredible growth, our goal is to enable kids to further their relationship with the world of Poptropica both online and offline with the right product and promotions."
