The U.K. toy industry reported increased sales in 2010, up by 6 percent in value and 10 percent in volume, according to data provided by The NPD Group. The industry increased its overall value to an estimated £2.83 billion, compared to £2.67 billion in 2009, indicating a recovery from the impact of the recession and loss of the Woolworths chain.
