Ubisoft has begun rolling out its video game release "The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn" on Xbox 360, PC, Nintendo 3DS and Wii.

The game is available for sale in the U.K., Europe, the Middle East and Hong Kong and will hit shelves in Australia Dec. 1, New Zealand Dec. 2 and North America Dec. 6.

To date, the film, directed and produced by Steven Spielberg and produced by Peter Jackson and Kathleen Kennedy, has earned $159 million overseas, according to Box Office Mojo. The film opens in the U.S. Dec. 21.

Ubisoft Montpellier developed the game in close collaboration with the filmmakers.
