McLaughlan joins Toys 'R' Us, U.K. from ASDA, a supermarket chain and a subsidiary of Walmart, where he served as managing director, ASDA Living. Earlier in his career, McLaughlan held various positions throughout the retail industry, including executive roles at Woolworth’s South Africa, Marks and Spencer and Stylo Group.
"McLaughlan is a seasoned retail executive who brings 25 years of experience to his new role in leading our Toys 'R' Us, U.K. operations," says Urcelay. "I look forward to working with McLaughlan as we continue to grow and develop the company’s business throughout the U.K."
