'Transformers 3' Opening Day Sets Record

Paramount’s Transformers: Dark of the Moon grossed $37.2 million Wednesday, its first full day at the U.S. box office, setting the record for best opening day gross of 2011, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Roughly 60 percent of the revenue is from 3D theaters.
