LEGO Systems and Toys"R"Us have teamed up again to celebrate Bricktober this month in stores and online. The campaign, in support of LEGO products, includes weekly sales, dedicated boutiques, gifts and special events.

In-store savings will include 30 percent off on more than a dozen LEGO building sets and board games such as Minotaurus, the Power Miners Claw Catcher, Star Wars Clone Turbo Tank and others. In addition, shoppers will receive a free fabric Halloween bucket with any LEGO purchase of $20 or more.

Also, each week, customers who purchase $20 worth of LEGO construction sets or board games will receive a limited-edition LEGO mini-figure magnet from years past. The four weekly figures are an Imperial soldier (1989 pirates set), cavalry colonel (1986 Western set), fire chief (1981 town fire set) and black falcon (1984 knight's castle set).

Meanwhile, TRU and LEGO will host racing-themed LEGO Bricktober 500 events on Oct. 23. Kids will be encouraged to build and decorate their own complimentary LEGO car and receive an official LEGO Bricktober 500 driver's license.
