Toys 'R' Us unveiled its annual Holiday Hot Toy List, featuring 36 new playthings, available in-store and on the company's website.

"There are so many really terrific new toys available this year, so narrowing down the list of top toys was fun, but challenging," says Karen Dodge, senior vice president, chief merchandising officer, Toys 'R' Us, U.S. "The Toys 'R' Us 2011 Holiday Hot Toy List highlights what we expect will be the most sought-after items this holiday season and the ones that will yield squeals of delight when kids tear off the wrapping paper on Christmas morning."

Products that made the Holiday Hot Toy List include:

• Poppin' Park Elefun busy ball popper from Playskool–An elephant-shaped toy that shoots balls for baby to crawl after.

• Topzy Tumblers Twirlin’ Tumblin’ Fun Park from Fisher-Price–A play set designed to keep babies entertained while developing key motor skills.

• Sesame Street Let’s Rock! Elmo from Hasbro–An interactive Elmo doll with a drum, tambourine and microphone that performs for and with kids.

• You & Me Hide and Seek Friends from Toys 'R' Us–Interactive dolls that play peek-a-boo and ask for snacks.

• Angry Birds 5-Inch plush from Commonwealth–Five-inch plush loaded with sounds taken from the mobile game.

• Cabbage Patch Kids limited vintage edition from JAKKS Pacific–Classic Cabbage Patch dolls from the 1983 designs.

• Disney Rock Star Mickey from Fisher-Price–A Mickey doll with shades and a guitar that performs three songs.

• Fast Lane Stunt City from Toys 'R' Us–An exclusive 100-piece track set with a motorized launcher, looping action, a moving crane, more than 12 pieces of track, a buildable cityscape and two included cars.
