Toys 'R' Us Names President

Toys ‘R’ Us announced that Neil Friedman has been appointed president of Toys ‘R’ Us U.S. As president, Friedman will oversee all merchandising, marketing, store operations, merchandise presentation, global sourcing and product dev

Friedman most recently served as president of Mattel Brands. He will report to Gerald L. Storch, chairman and chief executive officer.

Friedman has served as president of Tyco, Fisher-Price Brands, Mattel Brands, MCA/Universal Merchandising and Aviva/Hasbro,

and has held key executive positions at many major corporations. Friedman was named to the Toy Industry Hall of Fame in 2004 and was inducted into the International Licensing Industry Merchandisers’ Association’s Hall of Fame in 2007.
