Denver, Colo.-based The Parent Company has sold three of its e-commerce and resource Web sites—eToys.com, BabyUniverse.com and ePregnancy.com—to Toys "R" Us.

eToys.com and BabyUniverse.com features a wide range of toys and kids products. ePregnancy.com offers content and resources to expecting parents.

"We are committed to providing loyal customers of these sites with an enhanced online experience, while continuing to offer a differentiated merchandise assortment and the service excellence they have come to expect," says Jerry Storch, chairman and chief executive officer of Toys "R" Us.

The Parent Company filed for bankruptcy in December 2008.
