Toy Industry Award Winners Named

The British Toy & Hobby Association and the Toy Retailers Association presented the Toy Industry awards Tuesday at a gala event following the first day of the 59th annual Toy Fair, Jan 24-26. LeapPad Explorer was named Toy of the Year; Hasbro was

LeapPad Explorer was named Toy of the Year; Hasbro was named Supplier of the Year; and The Entertainer won Toy Retailer of the Year. Val Stedham was awarded a TRA Industry Award for her services to the toy industry.

                        • Girls’ Toy of the Year - Fijit Interactive Friends, Mattel              

                          • Boys’ Toy of the Year - Nerf N-Strike Maverick, Hasbro
