Long-time Cosmic Debris licensee Torre has extended its Emily the Strange back-to-school stationery range into Mexico. A line is already available in Chile.

The products will launch later this year in Mexico and will include notebooks, agendas, notepads and folders.

The deal extension was brokered by Gator Group on behalf of Emily the Strange.

"Stationery is a category that continues to be very popular for Emily as it perfectly complements our publishing franchises," says Rob Reger, creative director and president of Cosmic Debris. "Torre's high-quality products are the ideal canvas for Emily graphics. Extending our partnership with Torre into Mexico will ensure that our brand standards are upheld and we maintain continuity for the brand across the region."

Emily the Strange's licensing program includes Dark Horse Comics (comic books), Chronicle Books (collectible gift books) and HarperTeen, an imprint of HarperCollins (teen novels).

Gator Group will be exhibiting at Licensing International

Expo.
