U.K. high-street fashion stores Topshop and Topman, part of Philip Green's Arcadia Group, open their debut American flagship on April 2 on New York's Broadway.

The store was originally set to open in autumn 2008, before numerous planning and construction delays. The flagship could be the first of up to 15 such stores across the U.S.

Designed in the spirit of the London Oxford Circus store, the site in SoHo will have 25,000 square-feet set over four floors and fuses the building's original features with modern materials.

Topshop has three of the floors and will include its trend-driven mainline and Moto denim range, plus the Unique collection, the Kate Moss collection and capsule designer ranges from the London Fashion Week catwalk. The store will offer its free personal shopping style advisor service.

The online version of the store, topshop.com has been transactional in U.S. dollars since 2008.
