Topps Trading Cards has planned a new line of products based on its classic Mars Attacks trading cards depicting a Martian invasion of Earth to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the property.

Initial licensees include Abrams (commemorative book), Funko (bobble heads and vinyl dolls), Gelaskins (electronic skins), IDW (comic books and graphic novels), Impact Merchandising (t- shirts), Incogneato (costumes), Mezco Toyz (action figures and plush), Moebius Models (model kits); Quarantine Studios (statues) and 10Again Clothing (apparel).

In addition, Topps will publish special commemorative Mars Attacks trading cards. The series will include high-quality reprints of the original cards as well as newly created imagery.
