The Topps Company will continue to offer football cards for the National Football League after a new multi-year agreement was reached between the trading card maker and NFL Players, the marketing and licensing arm of the NFL Players Association.
As part of the new deal, Topps will roll out its first NFL-branded product prior to the start of the 2010 NFL season, called Topps Football.
"This year's Topps Football will be our best ever as it will be loaded with amazing content and truly deliver NFL rookies and stars," says Warren Friss, Topps' general manager of sports and entertainment. "It will also include a special Gridiron Giveaway promotion, which will allow collectors to unlock vintage Topps football cards and win various football prizes."
