Toy company Tomy has launched a new line of Chuggington die-cast railway sets, based on the Ludorum preschool series.

The new train sets feature a special track system that allows preschoolers to build stacked tracks in vertical, spiraling layouts.

The railway sets feature characters from the series, which airs in more than 175 territories worldwide.

"We are thrilled to be the first toy train brand to develop a track system that actually supports and encourages vertical building," says Greg Kilrea, president, Tomy International. "Now for the first time ever, young train fans can build tall, spiraling track layouts that add to the fun and excitement of imaginative train play while encouraging early math and engineering concepts. The best part about the new Chuggington Die-Cast Railway track system is the sturdy design, which means even the youngest enthusiasts can achieve super-tall builds that withstands active preschool play."

The new line of Chuggington die-cast railway sets is now available at all major retailers.
