Tesco has been eyeing central London locations to open the first fashion store for its F&F line, according to published reports.
Tesco's former clothing boss Terry Green told
Retail Week:
"We're looking for a store in the West End as a flagship for F&F. It will be a one-off to showcase the brand and complement our online and supermarket offer."
This would be the first time Tesco has opened a store, which is not called Tesco. A few years ago, ASDA opened shops for its George brand, but closed them again in 2008 lacking sufficient sales.
