The cross-country tour, along with special anchor events in Los Angeles and Miami, is set to kick off in late October. The mobile pop-up shop will stop first in San Francisco, Calif., at the end of October, followed by Las Vegas, Austin, Atlanta, New York and elsewhere.
The mobile shop will offer fans a highly edited selection of 50 collectible products, including special-edition tote bags and tees, vinyl figures and laptop sleeves. The 50th item will only be available at Target stores. The tour, which ends in mid-December, will also offer photo opportunities with characters and other activities.
This Sunday, Target will launch a Sanrio 50th anniversary program in stores, featuring exclusive product. A microsite at Target.com/sanrio will also carry the items, as well as a limited-edition offering of six exclusive items from the Small Gift tour
