With Christmas Day quickly approaching, retailers Target and JCPenney are already revealing plans for after holiday sales.

On Dec. 26, Target will offer 30 percent off or more on toys, including LEGO City, Star Wars and Kingdom Building; Nerf N-Strike Alpha Trooper CS-18, Deploy CS-6, Recon CS-6 and Magstrike AS-10; and Vtech MobiGo Dora and V. Reader Toy Story 3 software. Additional savings will also be available on video games such as Disney Epic Mickey and more than 100 DVD and Blu-ray titles. Target will open doors at 7 a.m. the day after Christmas.

Meanwhile, JCPenney is readying a "Biggest After Christmas Sale," offering extended store hours beginning at 7 a.m. on Sunday, free shipping on Jcp.com and more than 100 doorbuster deals. A number of exclusive brands will be on sale, including Olsenboye, Liz Claiborne, American Living and Cindy Crawford.
