Kewpie is considered the first collector's doll and was first introduced more than 100 years ago.
Super Rad will launch a line of vinyl Kewpie dolls just in time for back-to-school and holiday shopping. The designs will be based on the classic Kewpie look but with an updated twist.
Super Rad also will expand the line by offering do-it-yourself vinyl Kewpie Dolls as well as themed Kewpie series such as a Vampire Series and a Zombie Series.
"We are aware of the history behind Kewpie and look forward to expanding its rich history with updated versions of the classic collector's doll," says Christopher LeClerc, chief executive officer of Super Rad.
