The 15th annual Cartoons on the Bay is now accepting submissions for its Pulcinella Awards. The international television and cross-media animation festival will be held from April 7 to 10, 2011, in Rapallo, Santa Margherita Ligure and Portofino.
Award categories include preschool TV series, kids TV series, tween TV series, young adult TV series, educational and social issues work, TV pilot, interactive animation and short film. In addition, the 2011 festival has added a new competition category, called best advertising and promotional work, as well as the Arlecchino Award for the best video game-based program.
Cartoons on the Bay 2011's guest country will be Brazil and will focus retrospectives, previews, conferences and case histories on Brazilian animation.
