Known as Rosita Fresita in the country, Sears customers received an exclusive scented bracelet with the purchase of select items from Hasbro (toys), Union Kids (apparel), Alta Tecnologia en Mochilas (backpacks), Gruo Bestway (gift accessories), PIC (children’s pajamas) and Tycoon (DVDs). Nearly 10,000 bracelets were distributed at five different Sears locations including Satelite, Perisur, Universidad, Interlomas and Polanco. Rosita Fresita also took part in several meet and greets, as well as a QR promotion which linked to a promotional website with branded games and activities.
“The success of this promotion is truly a demonstration of little girls’ love for Strawberry Shortcake,” says Carla Silva, vice president of global licensing, AGP. “We had a lot of fun and enjoyed working with all of our great partners to create an event that would really excite our fans and showcase all of the amazing product that’s available.”
