Nickelodeon Consumer Products in Germany has renewed its publishing license with Egmont Ehapa for German-language SpongeBob SquarePants magazines, building on an existing successful nine-year partnership.

The new deal covers SpongeBob SquarePants–or SpongeBob Schwammkopf as the property is called in GermanÐmagazines aimed at 4- to 10-year-old boys in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and runs until the end of 2015.
