Planeta Junior announced an agreement with Spanish theme park PortAventura for Sesame Adventure, a themed area dedicated to Sesame Street characters. The attraction measures 13,000 square meters and has eleven rides, attractions, shows, restaurants and shops. 


The characters of Sesame Street such as Elmo, Bert, Ernie, the Cookie Monster, Grover and Zoe have been mascots of the park attraction since 2008, but Sesame Adventure marks the first attraction, built with an investment of €15 million. 


Planeta Junior is the licensing and television agency for Sesame Street in Spain and Portugal. In these markets, the brand has more than 20 partners covering more the 40 product categories.
