Lois Sloane, president of SloaneVision, passed away. She was a two-term chairman of LIMA and a 2003 recipient of the Murray Altchuler Hall of Fame award.

Prior to opening SloaneVision in 1996, Sloane was responsible for launching the Turner Broadcasting Consumer Products division in 1988, which managed the company's film, television and animation properties. She also served in roles at MGM-UA and IMG.

Sloane's service is scheduled for today at Riverside Memorial Chapel in New York, N.Y.

Today, SloaneVision represents a number of brands, including Smiley Central, Dairy Queen, Poof-Slinky, Ideal Toys, J-14, Zwinky and Little League Baseball.
