Showtime Networks has partnered again with Marc Ecko Entertainment for "Dexter The Game 2," a follow-up to the 2010 mobile game based on the television series, “Dexter.”
"The fans' main comment about the original game was that it was too short," says says Marc Fernandez, chief creative officer, Ecko Code (a division of Marc Ecko Entertainment). "With 'Dexter The Game 2's procedurally created serial killers and cases, the player will never run out of bad guys to stalk and crimes to solve."
“Dexter” follows a forensic blood spatter expert who spends his nights as a serial killer hunting down people who have escaped justice. In "Dexter The Game 2" players step into the shoes of the vigilante to hunt down criminals in an open-world Miami.
"Over the years we've worked closely with Ecko Code to experiment with how fans enjoy experiencing Dexter's world in the digital space," says Laura Palmer, senior vice president, distributor marketing, Showtime Networks. "Combining the freedom and the dark humor and suspense of the series, 'Dexter The Game 2' is unquestionably the most ambitious project yet."
"Dexter The Game 2" will be available for iOS, Android and PC this fall to coincide with the premiere of the seventh season of "Dexter," which airs on Sept. 30.
