“Galli Galli Sim Sim” is currently the only educational program for children ages 0- to 8-years-old broadcast in India.
“We are delighted to be back on Doordarshan, which also means that ‘Galli Galli Sim Sim’ will now be available on 100 percent of TV households,” says Sashwati Banerjee, managing director, Sesame Workshop India. “As India’s first educational program on TV, ‘Galli Galli Sim Sim’ has played a pioneering role in imparting high-quality early childhood learning and providing children with a head-start in understanding and communicating in the world around them.”
Sesame Workshop partnered with Turner Entertainment Networks Asia to produce the TV show.
