Select Brands has signed a long-term licensing agreement with Toastmaster in a move to revitalize the 91-year-old brand.

"We're working hard to reinvigorate the Toastmaster identity," says William Endres, founder and president, Select Brands. "Here at Select Brands, we have both the manufacturing and marketing agility needed to move quickly, so we intend to be market ready by [the first quarter of 2013] with an innovative product launch under the Toastmaster flag."

Select Brands–manufacturer of the Babycakes Treat Makers and Kitchen Selectives brands, among others–intends to return Toastmaster to the forefront of the small appliances market, using the legacy brand’s name and heritage.

"We are really pleased to add Toastmaster to our product line-up," says Endres. "The Toastmaster name is synonymous with quality, value and the American way of life."
