The National Basketball Association has announced Sears as the title sponsor of its Shooting Stars competition, part of “State Farm All-Star Saturday Night.”

In addition to exposure onsite and during the primetime broadcast of the shooting competition, the NBA All-Star Jam Session will feature a dedicated Sears-branded area where fans will have a chance to interact with NBA players and legends.

Sears will also give members of its Shop Your Way Rewards program the opportunity to participate in NBA events throughout the year, including All-Star 2013, the NBA Draft, the NBA Summer League and the WNBA Inspiring Women National Awards Luncheon.

Shop Your Way Rewards members will be able to earn the chance to present the Sears Shooting Stars championship trophy to the winning team live on the TNT, take photos with Sears Shooting Stars participants and receive tickets to NBA All-Star events.

“Sears is an iconic brand with a long-history of connecting with consumers and a great addition to NBA All-Star 2013,” says Rachel Jacobson, senior vice president of global marketing partnerships, NBA. “Sears Shooting Stars is one of our marquee events at NBA All-Star, and through this relationship we will engage with fans through the event and the Sears Shop Your Way Rewards program.”

Sears Shooting Stars will be televised live as part of “State Farm All-Star Saturday Night” Feb. 16, the day before the NBA All-Star Game.
