A number of new partners have been appointed by Scholastic Media to roll out Clifford the Big Red Dog merchandise. Meanwhile, Animal Adventure has been tapped as the first licensee for the Toots brand, based on the virtual world Tootsville.

Clifford the Big Red Dog’s newest licensees include Trevco (tees for infants, toddlers, youth and juveniles), Starry Story (framed and un-framed prints and lithographs), Kidz Toyz (electronic keyboard and other musical instruments) and Healthy Chocolate (organic chocolate products).

Animal Adventure will produce a line of plush and backpack clips, featuring the colorful, musical elephants of Toots. The items will include unique codes to unlock additional areas and games on the Toots website. The eight plush characters are expected to hit retail this fall.
