Coolabi has announced that the Scarlett & Crimson cosmetics gifting range designed exclusively for Boots is returning to stores for 2010. This year's cosmetics line has expanded from seven to nine items, and will have a 20 percent increase in store distribution.

The line is developed by beauty industry stars Ruby Hammer and Millie Kendall and designed and manufactured by SLG Beauty. It launched last year as a high-quality, but affordable gifting product for its core audience of teen girls. The expanded range includes the My Beauty Collective cosmetics palette, Totally Charmed nail polish collection and Double Trouble mascara and lip gloss duos.

Other categories in development for the brand in the U.S. and U.K. include apparel, perfume, bath and body, gifting and accessories, and stationery.

"SLG Beauty has developed some excellent products that really resonate with our teen consumers and, at stocking filler prices, we are confident of having another successful Christmas period with the brand

this year," says Maryann Drennan, Boots' assistant buying manager for ladies' cosmetic gifts.
