Saban Brands has inked agreements for its evergreen Power Rangers property around the globe, signing agents and licensees in Europe, Africa, Latin America, Pacific-Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
Saban Brands appointed a new licensing agent for South Africa, CLM, which joins global agents including CPLG for Western Europe, Ink for Scandinavia/Eastern Europe, Exim Licensing for Latin America (excluding Mexico), Televisa for Mexico, Segal Licensing for Canada, Haven for Australia and New Zealand and Saban Brands Israel.
New European licensees include: AABrands (apparel–Germany, Austria and Switzerland); Akroyd (apparel-U.K. and Ireland); Big Balloon (magazine–Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands); Blue Ocean (magazine–Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Belgium); Blues Clothing (apparel–U.K. and Ireland); GH Warner (footwear–U.K. and Ireland); Minuto & Salomne Srl (umbrellas–Italy); Misirli (socks–U.K. and Ireland); MV Sports (scooters/skates/bikes–U.K. and Ireland); Parragon (books–U.K. and Ireland); Prime (paper products–France); Leomil (footwear–multi-territory); Belltex (home goods–multi-territory); Rubies (costumes–EMEA); Sert-MST (health/beauty–U.K. and Ireland); Trademark Collections (luggage–U.K. and Ireland); Van der Erve (apparel–Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands); and Wal-Cor Corsanini (accessories–Italy).
Additionally, new partners include in Latin America Alta Tecnologia en Mochilas (backpacks, outerwear–Mexico); Arcor (Easter eggs–multi-territory); ESEKA (apparel–Argentina); Confecciones Melgar (bedding, shower–Peru); Parragon (books–multi-territory); Proyectos Comerciales (apparel–multi-territory); Papelera (notebooks–Peru); PT Trisinar Indopratama (lunch boxes–Peru); Sticker Design (stickers–Argentina); and Xeryus (backpacks, lunchboxes–Brazil).
In the Pacific-Asia region, new licensees include The Life Like Company (costume character appearances–Australia and New Zealand); Parragon (books–Australia and New Zealand); and Rubies (costumes–Australia and New Zealand).
Saban Brands is currently in development on a multi-territory Power Rangers Live Tour in the U.S. and Europe for 2012 and 2013; and live Power Ranger character appearances are taking place at select retailers throughout Europe.
